We have courses available for all ages starting from 4+ years as well as Adults-Only classes.
Our courses align with SA Public School Term with multiple classes per week, so you can conveniently add Skate School to your schedule.

Ice Hockey Academy is a course running the length of each school
term helping people of all ages to learn and improve their ice hockey
game skills.
Juniors:
Ages 5–17 |
Adults:
18+. We offer classes for all age
groups including both separate and mixed Juniors and Adults classes.
Schedule: 60-minute weekly sessions
Coaching: Taught by professionally accredited coaches.
Practice: Includes 10 FREE Public Skating passes to use between lessons (offered as a bonus).

The rink is cold, so layer up. Don't forget a warm hat, scarf and proper insulated gloves. Go for breathable stuff that keeps sweat at bay. Peel off or add layers as you warm up or cool down to stay comfy.

Our skate shop is conveniently located, and our expert staff are ready to assist you in finding the perfect size for your skates. We offer a wide range of sizes suitable for both children and adults.
Be sure to arrive 30mins before the class starts, and bring your booking confirmation.

Yes, Wednesday evenings are when all our predominately adult classes are held.
Maybe. Our Ice Hockey Academy courses are designed for students that have mastered the basics of skating. We require all new skaters to complete Skate School Level 6 to ensure they can keep up to get the most out of this course, more information can be found on the Hockey Academy page.
If you’re not sure you can perform all the minimum elements to the required standards, you can book an evaluation through Skate School, these take 5-10 minutes to complete.
Our Learn to Play programs start at 4 years old.

Before your first class of the term, please arrive 30 minutes early to Reception and check in, as well as get fitted with ice hockey equipment.
It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing that allows lots of movement. Even though it’s cold at the Ice ArenA, while you are wearing the equipment you will heat up.
