Experience two hours of winter magic. From creative play in real snow to the excitement of the rink, there's an adventure for everyone.

  • Real Snow Play: Build snowmen, craft castles, and race sleds on our dedicated mini-rink.
  • Meet the Penguins: Get up close with our playful resident penguins.
  • Ice Skating: Ready for more? Grab some skates and have a go on the ice for a classic skating experience.

High-energy action for the next generation of hockey stars. Spend two hours mastering the basics, practicing your aim, and competing in fast-paced mini-games.

  • Skill Building: Learn hockey fundamentals and sharpen your shots with expert guidance.
  • Mini-Games: Put your skills to the test in friendly, team-based competitions.
  • Pro Gear Provided: We supply the sticks, pucks, and essential safety gear—just bring your energy.
  • Pro Coaching: Every party includes a mandatory coach to lead the drills and keep the fun moving.

Since opening, we've welcomed thousands of skaters through our doors. Families have celebrated milestones here. Young athletes have found their passion. The ice has been home to countless first glides and breakthrough moments.

Inclusion

  • Entry to Snow and Skate Party, Ice Skating Party or Ice Hockey Party.
  • Snow and Skate Party includes snow toys and skate hire.
  • Ice Skating Party includes skate hire.
  • Ice Hockey Party includes skate hire and gear.
  • A meal for each party guest (Chicken nuggets and fries).
  • Jugs of soft drink or juice for the table (1 jug per 3 children).
  • Jugs of water for the table.
  • Free Skating Pass* for the birthday child, valid at their next public session visit.
  • 2-For-1 Skating Passes* for each party guest, valid at their next public session visit.
  • A lolly bag for the Birthday child and their guests.
  • A reserved, decorated Party Table.
  • Tokens for each child to use on games in our arcade area.
  • (Additional Tokens are available for purchase from the token machines located on the game deck.)

*Skating Passes are redeemable on a later visit.

How to book your party

A birthday at the Ice Arena is an unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike. From Snow & Skate to Ice Hockey, we've got a party package to suit every celebration. Booking in is easy - just follow the steps below and one of our party Penguins will take care of the rest.

Once your booking is confirmed, a deposit secures your date and is fully refundable up to 7 business days beforehand. We'll be in touch the weekend before your party to run through all the final details, including numbers and any extras you'd like to add. Right up until then you're free to finalise your RSVPs or top up with platters, an extra party host, or a decorated Polar Party Room. However big or small the celebration, our team is here to make sure the birthday child has a party to remember.

The Ice Arena is located on James Congdon Drive, across from Thebarton tram stop, just outside of Adelaide's CBD. We also have underground public parking operated by Wilson Car Park.
