WHAT TO EXPECT

We drop piles of real snow onto the ice and deck it out with props, obstacles, games, toys, sleds, and snowball makers. Try building snowmen and snowcreatures, slide in a toboggan, or test your aim with our penguin target board or have a snowball fight with your siblings. Parents can join in or supervise from off-ice, far away from flying snowballs.

Snow Play – FAQ 

Everything you need to know before your first visit to Ice Arena

A fun, safe winter experience where children and families can enjoy real snow. Perfect for building snowmen, sliding around in the toboggans and exploring some sensory scenarios. 

Every Sunday from 10:30am – 11:30pm and Monday – Friday during the school holidays. 

1 hour 

Warm clothing, long pants, jackets, gloves and closed toe shoes and boots. We quite often exhaust our supply of gloves and socks for sale, so please bring your own just in case. 

It is ideal for all ages, especially for young children. Adult supervision is required. 

Yes, please book your session via the snow play page on our website. 

Snow play is $19.50 for each child attending, and parents get to play for free.

The Ice Arena is located on James Congdon Drive, across from
Thebarton tram stop, just outside of Adelaide's CBD.
We also have underground public parking operated by Wilson Car Park.
